A mysterious and almost inaccessible island located between the municipalities of Outes and Muros watches over us. Legend has it that it was once a common hideout for pirates who would take refuge there to stalk their future victims; merchants entering and leaving the ports.
We do not know how much of this is mere legend and how much is true but the island still retains its enticing aura of mystery. It is a small round and very densely vegetated island with an area of about 17 acres. It is inhabited by several tree species and features a large mansion built over the remains of the chapel of Our Lady of A Creba, which was a place of worship in the Middle Ages.
